I'm excited for this film, which is the first X-Film ('Deadpool' excluded) I've been excited for.
A couple nerd thoughts:
1) If Xavier is still alive, this can't be that far into the Future. If this is truly Logan near the end, Xavier would be long dead. It would be cool if instead, we had an elderly Kitty Pryde in that role.
2) Continuing on the Old Man Logan train of thought: All Silver Hair would have been sweet. And give us the famous Logan Chops - the beard makes him just look like a bearded Hugh Jackman.
