I stopped at Cat People and The Big Cats (so no Thundercats or Cringer).

Also I asked around the office and the consensus is Snarf is not a cat - Snarf is a Snarf (He was originally on my draft list)

Heathcliff, Tom and Blofeld's cat are already on the list.

Huh. I don't think those were there when I made my suggestions.

How about "Pussyfoot" from the Merrie Melody "Feed The Kitty". I loved that cartoon.

Or all the heroic cats from "Stephen King's Sleepwalkers" (since the cat people are for some reason disqualified)
