Check out these He-Man designs WILLIAM STOUT did back in 1985! I dig em... they have a nice "Moebius feel"... maybe some Art Adams & George Perez... and you can see similar stylings in later works by Brom & Frank Quitely, I think.* I'm not saying one influenced another, merely that they have tethered visual elements.

I've always been a huge fan of Stout's film concepets sonce Conan the Barbarian !!! Superb stuff !! :)
