Jim said...: meh, I didn't like the yoda fights... him with a lightsaber just seems silly... hopping and flipping around like an aerial-summersaulting frog, batting at people's shins with is saber.

I wouldn't have minded the CG Yoda if they had modelled him to look like he did in 'Empire', more or less. He just looks... like someone else... like his brother :)

i don't hate how he fights; i mean, how else is a guy about TWO feet gonna kick peoples' asses?! i mean, he IS one of THE baddest beings in the SW Universe, and a Master so how's he NOT gonna have a lightsaber and NOT fight?

Anonymous said...: minimal (if that) comparison between a secondary (& not fully developed) character 30 yrs ago and one in "today's world" of how things, overall, have changed (ALOT) as far as the story is concerned. too many differences, as well as situational (Dooku being more "advanced in the Force" than Luke for one example, in comparing their opponents) & etc., like the fact that Jedi are a dogmatic group (like buddhists), which means that there's a ceiling to what they can "advance to by using the force in combat". ...same as why no Jedi use force lightning; it's a "dark" art and no "true Jedi" cares to even delve into that. ...very similar to Buddhist Monks.
