Batman jumping around the park in the middle of broad daylight? Boy, they sure got that character right (sarcasm)
In the "world" of Young Justice, yes they did indeed get the character right.

Sure, if you like guys, more guys and nothing but guys. Didn't the Young Justice have female members in it Starting off with nothing but the male characters irritates me to no end, especially since all the guys are introduced first and the girls second. I highly doubt any of the female characters will have any significance in the overall show since both the preview and the first couple of episodes don't even hint of their existence.
You think I'm being a bit unfair? Just look at the recent Batman/Superman: Apocalypse. It's original title AND the comic it was based on was called Batman/Superman: Supergirl. And what about that show a few years ago called "The Batman"? Not only did it feature a Justice League that had no Wonder Woman (who until her own solo movie was restricted to nothing but Justice League episodes), it didn't have any women in it period.
My hopes are non-existant.

It's supposed to have Arrowette and Miss Martian, but it's a bit confusing them having speedy in the video.
Ugh. Why this and not another series of Justice League Unlimited. Now that was a great show. This just looks... poor.
This isn't the Dark Knight Batman, it's a light-hearted cartoon for children. Having Batman out in the day within this show is acceptable and fitting. He has a child sidekick for Christ's sake. If you're looking for a darker version of Batman there a dozen comics or other animated incarnations for your enjoyment, "Red Jimsmash".
I read all of Young justice and it's Impulse not Kid flash, robin is right as well as superboy i guess, but where is wondergirl?? or arrowete? and that aqualad guy really? >.> this is alll wrong man!!! it spits on "Young and just us" the name given by impulse later dubbed as "Young Justice" its like having another lame teen titans show all over again...
The Teen Titans & Justice League have had various roster lineups & interpretations over the years. And now so has "Young Justice".
I don't like the characters because of thier sex. Sorry if that's why you tune in.
that sounds more like a "you" problem. I don't need people to look like me to identify with them.......
I cannot speak for others, but for me it is not a matter of liking or disliking a character based on their sex. Its a matter of diversity (or lack thereof) and disappointment at the absence of some of my favorite characters.
Now, regarding the male-only lineup, yes it is disappointing as well. While I do not need characters to look like me to identify with them, it is nice to see both girls & boys kicking ass. It's one of the many reasons why the "Young Justice" comic book appeals to so many people, male & female. My daughters (7 and 10) love Wonder Girl and Arrowette because they identify with them on an ADDITIONAL level. And yes, they also identify with the male characters.
The fact is: some Young Justice members are missing - the female ones.
"Anonymous", you say you don't need characters to look like you to identify with. I wonder if you identify with any of the female comic characters? (maybe you do)
I wonder if you would be saying the same thing if a "Justice League" movie came out and the lineup did not include any of the male characters; Superman, Batman, Flash, Green Lantern, etc. Would you feel the same way if your favorite characters were absent? What if this hypothetical JLA team consisted only of Wonder Woman, Super Girl, Power Girl, Mera and Jesse Quick?
I have a feeling you would not. But I cannot speak for you.
Nor do I know you. All I know of you is that you took the time to post an annonymous comment attacking another reader for her frustrations that this movie appears to have excluded all the female characters from the lineup.
Perhaps you have some issues of your own.
It , like most stories, it would all depend on the character and the way they are portrayed. for example,..i LOVE the new character 'Armor' in Astonishing X Men ( well When Joss was writing, they've kind of dropped the ball with her lately) Also, Kitty, one of my favorites, Black Cat ( or at least certain incarnations of her ) and of course Wonder Woman.
- from my personal point of view, when you start obsessing, and worrying about "diversity' and making sure everyone has someone that looks like them, bc that's apparently the only way to identify with someone, then your losing the entire point of the character him/herself. This whole new wave of alter-gender characters for the sake of having a character portrayed as a male and female falls along the same lines. I didn't like Michael Jordon bc he was black, I don't admire Wonder Woman because she's female, I don't identify with Peter parker because he's a guy.
I focus on the character, and their morals, strengths, beliefs, ect,...not on what race, color, age they are....that's all.
Lame none of the girs are there.

I watched it last night. Similar to tbe comic YJ is formed by 3 sidekicks (boys), with other members joining later (boys & girls). At the pilot's finale, YJ expands with Superboy & Miss Martian. Previews for the regular season shows the addition of "Arrowette".
