I hope it's a more serious nitty gritty film than the Stallone movie.
They should have Judge Death!!! that would so rock!!

Ooooh....

Hmm, do you break out Judge Death in the first outing? Or hold him for a sequel? I don't know! gah!

I so have high hopes for that one!! I mean, what does it take to beat the Sly version. LOL.

Since the team of "Destrict 9" is working on the new Dredd I´m even more convinced that it will have some decent quality.

Fingers crossed!!!

Could be good. You know Rob Schneider is available for this one!

You don't hold Judge Death for a sequel because the odds are too much against a Judge Dredd movie managing a sequel. If you wonder where you can go from Judge Death in the first, you can do like the comics and bring in the other Judges.

No, the reason to question putting Judge Death in the first movie is tone. Will Judge Death itself be seen as silly from a general moviegoer perspective?

Put a GOOD story up there, and don't worry about what audiences will accept. Audiences will accept anything if it's well presented. I really reject the perception and approach that you have to change things because the general public might not accept or grasp them. SHOW them what they are missing. EXPOSE them to this world. Like I said, it's all about the Story and Art Direction. A Great story in a presentable world( whether it be grounded in reality, or from the far corners of the cosmos )Will pull people in and grow a following. ( see Star Was, Lord of The Rings, Harry Potter, hell even the Matrix , even tho the story wasn't that original,..it was well presented. ) I love ya Baines, but I seriously, completely, disagree with that approach. There's a REASON these books where originally sought after as films. Because they have a huge following, They've sustained the test of time, they are original, and they are imaginative. stop trying to re-invent the wheel. Bring audiences to you, not the other way around.
