The solicit reads:
In these stories, Boba Fett gets caught between the Rebellion and the Empire; seeks a mysterious relic from a wrecked Star Destroyer; settles a diplomatic dispute -- with extreme prejudice; takes part in a bounty-hunter free-for-all; fights Darth Vader; and even goes up against a Boba Fett impostor! There's no job too deadly for the man in Mandalorian armor! The book is $25 and set for an April 1, 2010 release. I think I may just pick this one up. I've read about half of those stories already and recall digging them, if anything just for the art (the Cam Kennedy ones are delicious!). This will go nicely along with my other Dark Horse Omnibus books; ALIENS Omnibus 2-6 (I need volume 1), Aliens Vs Predator Omnibus 1, The Mask Omnibus 1, Ghost Omnibus 1, and X Omnibus 1-2.
I can't wait for Dark Horse to put out the "Dark Empire" Omnibus... and I'd be interested in a "Legacy" (can anyone thumbs-up/down this series?). I'd also love an omnibus edition that collected all the Rubio/Marangon stories; "Tag & Bink Are Dead" series and other [short] stories by them, usually found in Star Wars Tales - those dudes are hilarious!
Anyway, if you're interested in buying this 400-page Boba whopper, I suggest contacting either Golden Apple Comics or Neptune Comics. Tell em JimSmash sent you!

Or Earth 2 comics up in the Valley! Those guys are really nice up there.
Dark Horse also has a series of Omnibus versions of the old Marvel Comics stories that came out in the late 70's/early 80's. Those I can't wait for.
Yavin Vasilika is a great story!
I'd second a Tag And Bink omnibus, or a Star Wars Tales Omnibus. There probably is one of those.
Has anyone read the LEGACY book?
Any good? Poop?
Legacy is excellent. John Ostrander has written the entire series, and so there's a continuity to the story. The art is consistently solid. It's a good concept of a future Star Wars universe, 138 years after the Battle of Yavin.
Some points about the series...
- There is a Sith Emperor who has disposed the 'real' emperor, who is in exile. He is still working to maintain his grip on power.
- The Emperor in Exile has divisions of troopers loyal to him, and the Sith have troopers as well.
- There are a lot of Sith, not just two.
- The Jedi are scattered.
- The Empire has it's own Imperial Knights, loyal to the exiled emperor. Not Sith or Jedi, but in-between.
- The Empire was not evil, more neutral, before being overthrown. There is the Imperial Mission, who are an aid organization
- the main character is a Skywalker, but is undecided about being a Jedi or Sith, and is more of a smuggler/bounty hunter.
- The stories move around the universe, leaving the main story at times to add more depth into the overall series.
Blah, blah, blah. Basically, there's been a lot of thought about making the 'universe' interesting and cohesive.
