SPLICE

I've recently been hearing mumblings about the upcoming horror movie SPLICE. It's produced by Guillermo del Toro (Blade II, Hellboy, Pan's Labyrinth) and directed by Vincenzo Natali (Cube).

From what I gather, the general plot has genetic scientists splicing Human DNA with Animal DNA. Check out the freaky pics of the "Bjork-hybrid":

Reminds me of SPECIES... even the poster art. But del Toro and Natali are pretty awesome, so I have faith.
