RIP: JOE KUBERT

We lost a Legend yesterday - JOE KUBERT passed away at the age of 85. Kubert had been drawing comics professionally since the age of 12, and is best known for his amazing work on Hawkman, Sgt Rock, Tor and Tarzan.

He also founded the Kubert School, which turned out alumni such as Amanda Connor, Shane Davis, Dave Dorman, Stpehen Bissette, Scott Kolins, Alex Maleev, Tom Mandrake, Rags Morales, Tome Raney, Bart Sears, Timothy Truman, Rick Veitch, Adam Warren, Lee Weeks, as well as his two sons, Andy & Adam.

It's hard to imagine a Comic Community without Joe Kubert's presence.... But his influence will remain forever.

Rest in Peace, Mr. Kubert.
