WUN-DAR: SAVAGE HE-MAN (aka "WONDER BREAD HE-MAN")

One of the new HE-MAN CLASSICS figures coming out is WUN-DAR, THE SAVAGE HE-MAN! Which is a repainted He-Man figure with black ZODAC chest piece.

He-Man.org says of Wun-Dar:
One hundred years before Prince Adam was born, Wun-Dar, a warrior from deep in the savage underground city of Tundaria, rescued a young woman who turned out to be the Goddess of Eternia. Providing him with cosmic battle armor and a sophisticated ray gun that could tap into almost unlimited power, the Goddess tasked Wun-dar to protect both halves of the sword of He and keep them apart so as not to fall into the hands of evil. Like many warriors before him, Wun-dar became known as "The He-Man," battling in a savage way to keep evil from obtaining the key to the great power hidden inside the long-forgotten Castle Grayskull.
Sweet. As a kid, and during those early days of He-Man (pre-cartoon), I envisioned He-Man more along the lines of a CONAN (thank you big brother for having Conan novels lying around the house!). I dig the IDEA of the "Savage He-Man" but wish he was more like this:

So, apparently this WUN-DAR figure is an homage to a super rare mail-away figure, dubbed through the ages "THE WONDER BREAD HE-MAN". :
Wonder Bread He-Man is almost a legend upon himself...

He-Man.us says of Wonder Bread He-Man,
No-one seems to know where this figure came from, but it's been called wonder bread He-Man because it was believed that he was a wonder bread mail away, but the only thing confirmed is wonder bread did give out He-Man trading cards.
and STA:MOTU says,
["Wonder Bread"] He-Man was a mail-away from the Wonder Bread company in 1984 (roughly on date). The Wonderbread He-Man has some distinct differences that makes him almost #1 on collector's lists. "WB" He-Man as he is also known, has brown hair, brown trunks & black boots. The weapons is really anybody's guess since a WB He-Man in mailor hasn't been uncovered yet. We are 95% sure he came with the black vest (shown in picture) which also came with the weapons pack. But it is rumored he also has a black gun and a black club. If you have been told or seen that he comes with the red axe, this is unconfirmed as well. Lee's guide has been wrong about many things, and they probably picked the axe bit on rumor. The red axe is unconfirmed and not concrete. The only other possiblity is that he may have come with Blue weapons. Recently found has been a stright dark blue sword and a dark blue rifle.
