BOW & ARROW KNOWLEDGE
If you're the artist of GREEN ARROW, who's only weapon is the BOW & ARROW, I highly suggest learning how a bow works and how an archer holds it. This is one of my biggest pet peevesl. How many errors can you find in this pic?!

LOL YIKES!
Hahah - I have always felt the exact same way regarding GA art. Seriously, he does ONE THING well, learn how to draw a person doing that ONE THING well or else you've got no business drawing Green Arrow!
ok if memory serves , he fires at that angle and misses by having it recoil on him ? and the bow laying the PIMPHAND down
well i have a question? is Ollie right handed, left handed, or ambidextrous?
bc, if he's right handed, he's holding the bow in the wrong hand.
I would imagine he's ambidextrous, being Green Arrow n' all. (?)
Regardless, that picture is all whackadoodical on many levels.
First off is very difficult to use a bow in horizontal. When you do this, is ok that the arrow rest in the up side of the bow, like in the cover art but never the cord can be used up. I has to be down the right arm. And the way GA grab the cord and the arrow is wrong.
In this cover bry Brian Hitch http://marvel.com/images/657653./from/content.comic_issue.31468 ,it happens the same, bad idea to shoot in horizontal, but the arrow never van rest down the bow, it should be supported in the bow.
I want to say that he's GREEN ARROW and therefore capable of using a bow in that manner. But I can't. That's just ignorance on the artist's part.
My brother-in-law is a professional bow competitor (has a shoot this weekend in Florida). I think I'll show him this just to make him laugh.
Here's another that always bugged me:

WHY ARE THESE PEOPLE IN THE BUSINESS!! There are two guys in my small circle of friends who could draw that picture just as well (maker is one), and know HOW to draw him holding the bow. The thing is, if they didn't know, they would do the research before they drew it so that it would be right. I would love to work in the comic book industry (yeah me and a ten million other guys). If I was given the chance I would research the character, his weapons, his history, etc. etc. before I even began writing/drawing anything. Today's writers/artist don't adhere to ANYTHING. They change character's power's/personality/history and just do what ever the F that want. Here is a novel idea, why not hire someone with talent and knowledge!
HA!
You mean ASIDE from the fact that he's about to shoot the arrow thru his own shin?
