2020 IS ALMOST OVER....

2020 is almost over. What a horrible year. I keep hearing it referred to as “a dumpster fire”.  So share your Top 5-10 worst things of 2020. This is not a contest.

Mine:

1) My dad died. He was my hero. He was my source of strength. I’m lost without him, flailing in the darkness.

2) My friend John died, losing his battle against a cancerous brain tumor. I hung out with him the night before he died.

3) My friend Christopher died, losing his battle with cancer. We last texted a week or so before he passed. He got me through some real tough times, including my number 4....

4) Four months of Chemotherapy & Sterioid therapy. I’m still physically and mentally recovering.

5) My cousin died, the day after being released from hernia surgery. He was a great man whose influence made me a better person.

6) For various reasons, I had to... change careers. After decades of hard work and pouring everything into it, I had built something special I was proud of. And it was heart-breaking to let it go.

7) I had to move my family thousands of miles away from dear friends who are like family.

8)The Pandemic. Over 300,000 Americans dead and counting. Including friends’ closest loved ones. The fear. The anger towards selfish dipshits who endanger us all with their ignorant recklessness.

9) Trump, the GOP and their blindly-loyal supporters. I’ve lost faith in my country, my countrymen, and any hope for the future.

10) TBD - There’s still 1 day to go...
