RIP CRAIG WINDRIX

We lost one of our own today... CRAIG WINDRIX passed away earlier today after battling cancer. He was 34.

Like many, 'ALIENS' was Windrix' favorite movie (he also apparently liked Iron Maiden!). His brother Kyle (a diehard 'Aliens' fan as well) is also a sculptor at NECA. When Craig was first diagnosed, NECA decided they wanted to do something special and pay tribute to their brave friend and brother. And so, they acquired permission from FOX to make him into an official Colonial Marine figure!

"SGT CRAIG WINDRIX" is part of NECA's 2nd wave of Aliens figures, and comes with a flamethrower and custom armor decoration specifically tailored to Craig; a heart with his girlfriend's initials on the front, and a bowling ball & pens with his late father's initials on the back (his father had passed away just one year before Craig's diagnosis)

You, too, can pay tribute to a fellow fan taken from this world far too soon. His figure is in stores now and looks awesome bug hunting alongside those other absolute badasses we all love!

Rest in Peace, Craig.
And my deepest condolences to your friends and family.
